The branding of the Municipality of Sitia is an initiative to promote the city as "City of olive oil". Known for the production of excellent quality olive oil, Sitia is well known for it’s protected destination of origin (PDO) products.
In order to promote the cultural heritage, the strengthening of the economy and the empowerment of local development, a new city logo was created. An emblem inspired by the physiognomy and the city’s values to consolidate the identification of the olive oil with the city of Sitia
